Arsene Wenger |
Juan Mata's transfer is all about the money
Arsene Wengers view on the reasoning of the much talked about
transfer of
Chelsea selling Spanish playmaker
Juan Mata to
Manchester
United, a direct rival for a fee to be believed around the 37,000,000 is
simply a "financial reason". Wenger went on to say "Its the first time
ive come to that conclusion with Chelsea and means somethings changed
with their philosophy, they reportedly lost 50million last year, if they
get 37million for Mata and 18million for
Kevin De Bruyne, then they are
wanting to get into line for the financial fair play."
With the
comparisons being made between this deal and
Arsenal selling
Van Persie
to United in 2012 Wenger said " Our situation then was more
understandable than this of Mata's, Robin was 29 and had played here for
a long time."
